Legion Group holds SIA Approved Contractor Status for the provision of security, guarding, keyholding and CCTV services. The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider's operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards.
ISO 9001 certification provides independent, third-party verification that the processes by which we deliver security services are of the highest quality. From security officer selection to training to responsive management, Legion Group is compliant with a quality management standard that is accepted throughout the global community.
Legion Group has been independently audited and awarded ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 by UKAS. These certifications signify to customers that they can be sure they are trading with a company that is both environmentally responsible and compliant with environmental law.
Security screening is conducted to British Standard 7858, which includes a 10-year work history check. This process, combined with the licensing scheme, ensures we are recruiting the best available people. Legion Group plc will not employ persons whose history indicates that they would be unlikely to resist the opportunities for illicit personal gain, or the possibilities of being compromised, or the opportunities for creating any other improper breach of security, which such employment might offer.
As an NSI NACOSS Gold accredited business we are thoroughly vetted and rigorously inspected on a regular basis to ensure we are maintaining standards in both the quality of installations and client support. This requires us to
operate a 24 hour call out service (and respond within 4 hours if required) and install equipment that meets all the required standards for police and insurance. We also meet the relevant British and European Standards and
operate to the highest level of business excellence through achievement of ISO9001 Quality Management.
Investors in People (IIP) is a national standard, which sets out a level of good practice for communication, training and development of staff in order to achieve business goals. During 2007 Legion Group was accredited against the national IIP standard.
